アデル（Adele、1988年5月5日 – ）は、イギリスの歌手。英国BBCの人気投票企画「サウンド・オブ・2008」でトップになり、同年のデビューアルバム「19」がチャート初登場1位を獲得、2009年の米国グラミー賞で最優秀新人賞と最優秀女性ポップボーカルパフォーマンス賞の2部門、2012年の同賞で主要3部門を含む全6部門の賞を獲得、2012年9月時点で、全世界での総売上が2300万枚を突破。「21」は全世界で3000万枚以上のアルバムセールスを記録した。『グラミー賞』15回受賞(18回ノミネート)。トータルで6000万枚以上である。
と、Wikiには、2012年までの情報しかありませんでしたが、2017年にも再びグラミー賞主要3部門を獲得しています。すばらしいとしか言い様がありません。
