先週のサンソン（山下達郎のサンデー・ソングブック）を聴いていたら、AORの名盤 ニック・デカロ Nick DeCaro『イタリアン・グラフィティ Italian Graffiti 』1974 が紹介されていました。と言っても売れたのは日本だけだったようですが。
そう言えばニック・デカロの他のアルバムを聴いたことがなかったので検索してみるとこんなアルバムが見つかりました。AOR界の重鎮ニック・デカロが山下達郎のナンバーをカヴァー。往年の活力は感じられないかわりに,いい年の取り方をした男ならではの味がある。なんてコピー。知りませんでしたね。
