今回は、クリスマスソングの定番曲「ラスト・クリスマス Last Christmas」ワム! Wham! をピックアップ。

ご存じ、ワム! Wham! が人気絶頂期だった1984年のクリスマスに合わせて発売されたクリスマスソングですね。

通常のシングルと12インチ「プディング・ミックス」バージョンが発表されています。

日本のオリコンの洋楽シングルチャートで1988年12月から通算30週1位という最長記録を誇る、累計100万枚の大ヒット。アメリカでも、シングルカットされていないのに、『ビルボード』調べによるホリデーソング・ランキング（2003年 – 2016年）で10位にランクインされています。

タイトルは「去年のクリスマス」という意味の失恋ソングなんですが、いつまでも色あせないエバーグリーンな名曲ですね。ホリデーシーズンの間違いない定番。
