オアシスの「ドント・ゴー・アウェイ Don’t Go Away」1998年は、ノエル・ギャラガー作詞･作曲で、シンプルなギター・サウンドで聞かせる感動的なロック・バラードの名曲として日本やアメリカで人気があります。

3枚目のオリジナル・アルバム『ビィ・ヒア・ナウ Be Here Now』からのシングル・カット。

曲を書いたノエルによると歌詞はレコーディング当日にできたそうですが、ボーカルのリアムは録音の時にいろいろなことを思い出して泣いてしまったとも言っています。
