ボブ・マーリーのノー・ウーマン・ノー・クライの回でも少し紹介した曲。今回は、ちょっと懐かしいところで、スウィートボックス Sweetbox の「エヴリシング・イズ・ゴナ・ビー・オールライト Everything’s Gonna Be Alright 」をピックアップ。
スウィートボックスの1stアルバム「Sweetbox」（1998年）収録。ボーカルにTina Harrisを起用した「Everything’s Gonna Be Alright」が世界中で大ヒット。その後も、ヒットを連発してぶろっこりもよく聴いていました。いろいろな曲でモチーフにされているクラシック、ヨハン.セバスティアン.バッハ Johann Sebastian Bachの通称「G線上のアリア」、管弦楽組曲第3番 ニ長調 BWV 1068 – 第2曲 エール 「G線上のアリア」Suite for Orchestra No. 3 in D major, BWV 1068 – II. Air をサンプリングしています。
1stアルバム「Sweetbox」（1998年）は、He Loves Me や Mama Papa など他にもかわいい曲がたくさんあります。曲を繋ぐ形の Interlude もしゃれていますし、コンセプト・アルバムみたいな統一感があります。ぜひ、聴いてみて下さい。

Sweetboxは、何人もヴォーカルが変わっているので、別のヴァージョンもいろいろあります。
ベスト・アルバム「Best of Sweetbox」（2005年）から、”Everything’s Gonna Be Alright -Reborn-”
当時のヴォーカル、ジェイド・ビラロン Jade Villalon がトビー・ブラィティンバッハ Toby Breitenbach とデュエット。歌詞もすっかり変更されています。まさに、Reborn。
7thアルバム「The Next Generation」(2009年)の 中田ヤスタカ”Yasutaka Nakata(capsule)Remix”ヴァージョン。
全く違う曲に聞こえるのは、ぶろっこりだけ？
sweetboxプロジェクト 25周年のヴァージョン。
そういえば、2013年、6代目のヴォーカルは、なんと日本人の福原美穂。当時、ほんとにビックリしました。
ぶろっこりは、彼女をこの曲で知りました。歌唱力スゴイですね。さすがお目が高い。
