今回は、バス・ストップ Bus Stop ホリーズ The Hollies（1966年）をピックアップ。
なぜ、この曲を取り上げたのか、ドラマ好きの方はピンときたと思います。今週から放送されるドラマ「何曜日に生まれたの」のテーマとして使われたからですよね。映画やドラマで使われてヒットする曲はたくさんありますが、この曲もきっと気に入っていただけると思います。平浩二の方じゃないよー。

ホリーズ The Hollies が1966年にリリースしたシングル「バス・ストップ Bus Stop 」は、全米・全英5位を記録、日本でも大ヒットしたホリーズの代表曲です。作詞・作曲はのちの10ccのグレアム・グールドマン Graham Gouldman なんですね。初めて知りました。どうりできれいなメロディー。

いつものぶろっこり訳です。といきたいところですが、素敵な和訳がありましたので、こちらを紹介します。
