夏休み、いかがお過ごしでしようか。
毎週水曜日に、お届けしている @今週の洋楽 ですが、休みの暇な時間を利用して、「授業で人気の洋楽」特集をお送りしたいと思います。題して、「夏休み 納涼 リクエスト特集」。 山下達郎のサンデー・ソングブックのパクリです。(^_^)もちろん、山のようなリクエスト？は、きていないのですが、生徒さん・学生さんの人気が高いであろうポップス・ロックを、暇に任せてガツンと紹介します。
さて、最初は 今年４年ぶりのオリジナル・アルバムを発表した、カーリー・レイ・ジェプセン Carly Rae Jepsen のヒット曲を３曲続けてピックアップしたいと思います。

最初カナダで発表されたこの曲は、ジャスティン・ビーバーとセレーナ・ゴメスがツイートしたことで、世界規模で注目をされ、アメリカでもリリースされることになりました。日本でも、同じようなことがありましたね。ＳＮＳやツイートの力はすごいです。女の子が男性に一目ぼれして、彼からの電話を心待ちにしているという歌詞ですが、ＭＶでは、その恋は成就されなかったようですね。
