@今週の洋楽とか言ってますが、あまり流行に流されず（というか流行について行けない）、その時に聞きたい音楽をピックアップしているだけの「洋楽担当 ぶろっこり」です。ということで、いまさら感たっぷりですが、2019のグラミー賞・受賞アルバムを取り上げました。
グラミー賞 (2019年) の最優秀アルバム賞は、カントリーシンガー・ケイシー・マスグレイヴス Kacey Musgraves の「ゴールデン・アワー Golden Hour 」(2018年3月31日発売)が受賞しています。
このアルバムでは、ケイシー・マスグレイヴスの繊細でいながら伸びのある歌声と美しいメロディの流れるゆったりとした世界をたっぷりと堪能出来ます。また、これまで発表してきた曲の歌詞に見られた、鋭くてどこかひねくれたような視点は抑えられていて、アメリカの音楽ファン全般に幅広く好評価を受けているのも頷ける内容だと思います。Golden Hour のタイトルの通り美しく、どこか懐かしさを感じるような、何か心からの安心を得られるような、心地よさを感じる作品です。少し前のシンガーソングライターを思いおこす方も多いことでしょう。ただ、少しポップになっていくらか個性が抑えられたと言っても、 Rainbow の素朴でいながら息をのむような美しさにはぐっと引きつけられますし、High Horse の軽快感も気持ちいいですよね。
(日本でいうゴールデンアワーは、テレビの視聴率が最も高い時間帯ですが、英語の golden hour は、写真や動画で幻想的で美しく撮影できる、夜明け直後か日暮れ直前の太陽の光が柔らかく赤みを帯びている時間帯のことです。magic hour と呼ばれたりします。)
アルバムの最後を飾る曲 Rainbow いい曲ですよね。歌詞もメロディも歌声もみんな美しいケイシー・マスグレイヴスの世界に引き込まれます。ＭＶも映画のシーンみたいです。

この他の曲も、いい曲がそろっています。さすがの最優秀アルバムということでしょう。
